get to wear this dress once (for the most part) so why not make sure you are strong enough to truly enjoy wearing it, and wear it through your Wedding Ceremony and your Wedding Reception? Traditional wedding dresses are heavy. The fabric itself is heavy and often hot, and then you pile it on in layer after layer, add beading, lace and bows, and it can feel like it weighs a ton! Not only are you expected to walk gracefully in your wedding dress, but then you are supposed to dance in it without falling on your rear.

Strengthening my core will help me wear my Wedding dress all day?

the “core” actually consists of many different muscles that stabilize the spine and pelvis and run the entire length of the torso. A solid foundation for movement in the extremities are the muscles that stabilize the shoulder, pelvis and spine. To ensure that you will be able to wear your Wedding Dress and not have it drag you down, you need to make these muscles fit and strong.

Which is the optimal way to strengthen my core for my wedding day?

There are several exercises you can do to strengthen your core muscles, such as:

- Abdominal Bracing -

This is the main technique used during core exercise training. It refers to the contraction of the abdominal muscles. To correctly brace, you should attempt to pull your navel back in toward your spine. This action basically recruits transverse abdominus. Be careful not to hold your breath – you should be able to breathe evenly while bracing.

- Plank Exercise

- Side Plank Exercise

- The Basic Push Up

- Back Bridge

- Hip Lift

- Russian Twists

- Squats

- V-sits

- Lunges

- Side Lunges

- Back Extensions

- Push Ups.

Other exercises that will help strengthen your core involve exercise equipment:

- Medicine Balls

- Kettlebells

- Stability Balls

- Balance Products such as the Bosu Ball, balance boards, wobble boards and others

- Dumbbells

With all of these exercises, it would be very easy to harm yourself if you don’t execute them properly. Working with your personal trainer is the best way to make sure you don’t cause more harm than good.

By: Zach Hunt

About the Author:

cises are just as important as the name implies – they workout the core of your body, which benefits the rest of your body as well. Your core area are the muscles around your trunk and pelvis. Good core stability means that the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips, and abdomen are all working together, which in turn makes it much easier to do a lot of things. For example, when you have good core strength, you will find it easier to play golf or tennis and even to tie your shoes! You will have better posture, and you greatly reduce your risks for lower back pains or injuring your muscles. Sadly, however, most people think they just need to do a few sit ups or crunches to work out their core, and by doing so, they severely neglect that muscle group. Fortunately, there are a lot of easy core exercises you can do – right from the comfort of your own home, if you like – to strengthen your core area.

First, there are the standard core exercises, the ones most of us learn to do in grade school. These include squats, push ups, sit ups, and crunches that target your abdominal area. If you are looking for some more intense core exercises, then first up is the bridge. To do this exercise, you need to lie on your back with your knees bent. It is very important to keep your back in a relaxed, sort of neutral position – no arching your spine or pressing your back into the floor! Next, tighten your abdominal muscles and lift your hips off of the floor so that they are aligned with your knees and your shoulders. Hold this position for three seconds (count them out: one Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi), then slowly return to the starting position, and start all over again.

The second type of ******** core exercises are segmental rotations. Again, begin by lying down with your back in a relaxed position and your knees bent. Tighten your abdominal muscles once more. This time, however, you are going to let your knees slowly fall to the left while keeping your shoulders on the floor. Do not stress yourself too much – only let your legs fall as far as is comfortable for you. When you are doing it right, you will feel the tension of the stretch but you will not experience pain. Hold for another three count, return to the starting position, and then repeat, this time lowering your legs to the right.

The last set of core exercises are quadrupeds. For this exercise, you begin on your hands and knees. Your hands should be directly below your shoulders and your head and neck should be aligned with your back. Start off by tightening your abdominal muscles, then lift your left arm off the floor and reach ahead. Hold for a three count, then lower your left arm and repeat the exercise using your right arm. Once you are back in the starting position, this time, you are going to raise your left leg off the floor. If you feel yourself falling off balance, just tighten the muscles in your trunk area. Hold for a three count, go back to the starting position, and do the same with your right leg.

Do these core exercises regularly, and you will be on your way to a strong, healthy core – not to mention some serious six-pack abs!

By: Dominic Ferrara

About the Author:

If you are considering adding some bulk to a thinner frame, and you wish to accomplish this through varied methods it takes some creative thinking on different ideas to start with. Because of this it is necessary for you to know the various advantages that bodybuilding in general has to offer.

Body Building Exercises Defined

Deciding what body building exercises to use can be somewhat challenging due to the fact that there are so many variations available. However, once you figure out which body parts you want to work on you can narrow down your choices quickly.

Numerous up and coming body builders are of the mindset that the only real way to build muscles on their arms is to lift weights. This is not exactly the case, since lifting weights is certainly a beneficial body building exercise, it is not a good idea for beginners to do that prior to getting some arm strength through other ways.

Specifically, an ideal exercise to build the back of your arms (triceps) is pushups. Depending on the physical condition of a person prior to starting exercise pushups may be difficult to do, but pushups are an excellent way to begin and at the same time it reduces the chance of injury.

Gradual Increases

Start with just a few pushups, and as soon as you feel your the muscles in your upper arm begin to burn, stop.

If you are not in shape it is wise to start with only two sets of 15 repetitions each. Some even advise starting with as little as 10 repetitions. Gradually you will you will gain strength in the back of your arms. Pushups also have a strengthening effect on your shoulders due to the movement of the exercise and because you are supporting your upper body weight with this exercise.

For strengthening and building your legs the exercises of squats and leg lunges are an effective option. For those just starting out it will tend to be uncomfortable until your body becomes accustomed to it.

For those who are looking for more information on the numerous exercises that can be utilized to build up your body, you can go to your local gym to sign up for a membership and enlist the help of a personal trainer.

Another avenue to get more information is to go onto the internet for advice on the various exercises for beginners. With the right research, you are certain to find some beneficial body building exercises.

By: Corbin Newlyn

About the Author:

The answer is YES. I know many of you are probably sceptical about using body weight exercises to build a strong and lean physique. The truth is the body cannot distinguish between your own body weight and a weight being lifted up. Both forms of exercises provide plenty of resistance the only difference being the type of exercises.

Gymnasts are a good example of the type of people who only use body weight exercises. They build their physiques for function first then ornamental second.

By using intense resistance exercises that can only be sustained for less than five repetitions the body focuses on using the nervous system to recruit as many muscle fibres as possible. This is known as “neural adaptation”. You build the greatest amount of strength using this form of training.

To train for muscular hypertrophy you adjust the intensity of the body weight exercises so that you have a rep range between eight to twelve reps. You can adjust the intensity by using easier variations of the body weight exercises.

To train for endurance you adjust the intensity of the body weight exercises so that you have a rep range between fifteen and fifty.

Some good old fashioned exercises include:

*Pushups, pullups, chinups, squats and janda situps.

Although these exercises may not seem like much they are in fact the most effective in building muscle simply because they involve multiple joints and allow your body to move in space rather than your arms and hands. It is also recommended that one trains with these basic exercises before moving onto weights if one chooses to.

For more information on building a strong and lean physique visit below:

http://buildmusclenoweights.blogspot.com/

By: John Graham Baines

About the Author:
